He specializes in commercial law, investment and labour law, as well as bankruptcy and reorganization law. He is an arbitrator in arbitration courts, and in 2004 he was entered onto the list of arbitrators of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Krakow. Since 2005, he has been a member of the International Litigation and ADR Group as part of Eurojuris International based in Brussels.
He has vast experience in providing legal assistance to banks in trials, including actions brought both by the bank, as well as the bank’s clients. He supervises the work of the procedural department of economic affairs at the BFP Law Firm.
Due to extensive experience in mediation and arbitration, on September 25, 2013, Benedykt Fiutowski was appointed as a member of the Team for Mediation in Economic Matters established by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Justice. The task of this Team was to create legislative solutions improving the conditions for the development of amicable methods of resolving commercial disputes in Poland. The appointed Team prepared a draft Act of 10 September 2015, amending certain other acts, with the aim of supporting amicable dispute resolution methods, which entered into force on January 1, 2016.
