On 22 September 2021, a 30-year-old woman who was 22 weeks pregnant died at the County Hospital in Pszczyna. On admission, absence of amniotic fluid was diagnosed and an earlier diagnosis of congenital malformations of the foetus was confirmed. During hospitalisation, the foetus died. After less than 24 hours in hospital, the patient also died due to septic shock.
