Atty. Jolanta Budzowska has been admitted to APIL organisation (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers), based in Nottingham, United Kingdom. APIL is a not-for-profit campaign organisation, with more than 25 years of tradition, associating more than 3,800 member lawyers (mainly solicitors, barristers and legal executives), including lawyers from different jurisdictions.
Atty. Jolanta Budzowska’s association with APIL is a consequence of a continuous and steadily developing specialisation and legal expertise in all aspects of personal injury arising as a result of medical negligence and traffic accidents. The admission to APIL organization in terms of cross-border cooperation constitutes a manifestation of a recognition for Jolanta Budzowska’s professional activities at the expert level, including expertise in the international respect.
The main objective of APIL members is the cooperation in the legal assistance rendered to the injured parties, including the assistance in multijurisdictional proceedings. In this regard, Atty. Jolanta Budzowska, based on many years of experience, gained also as a board member of PEOPIL organisation (Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers), is constantly active in multiple international projects, including the preparation of expert reports in cross-border cases, based on the Polish jurisdiction, in respect of assessing claims, advising on liability and procedural issues.
In addition to rendering legal assistance on specific issues, APIL’s activity is dedicated to changing the law, protecting and enhancing the access to justice, and improving the services provided for victims of personal injury. APIL promotes and develops expertise in the practise of personal injury law, for the benefit of injured people. In this regard, the contribution of Atty. Jolanta Budzowska in APIL’s activities will be also built on her expert experience as a member of the Human Rights Commission, appointed by the National Council of Legal Advisers in Poland.
